Yes, the device can be removed and taken with you, or it can stay mounted on the motorcycle.
If left on the motorcycle, it will send alerts when vibration or impact is detected. You can then remotely access the dashcam via your smartphone to check the surroundings in real time.
If removed, the device will no longer be connected to the motorcycle, meaning it won't be able to monitor or send alerts.
Without a SIM card, the device cannot monitor the motorcycle remotely or send notifications.
If you want to quickly detach the device, you will need to purchase an additional quick-release mount.
