BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2014 - Chigee AIO-6 MAX CAN connection not working

BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2014 - Chigee AIO-6 MAX CAN connection not working

Hi everyone, just got a Chigee AIO-6 MAX to replace my BMW navigator 5. Got it together with the BMW quick-release (https://www.chigee.com/products/bmw-quick-release?srsltid=AfmBOopQcHwKmqCydH5DeppnyB28TL1NDoSr38w1r-xZv-YXtsQ2_TG8).

My motorbike is a BMW R1200 GS Adventure 2014.

It works great, install was very easy, just four screws to mount the quick release on the AIO-6 and click it in the existing cradle.

When I switch on the ignition, the chigee powers up. However, I cannot seem to get any information from the motorbike, the wonderwheel is not working and there's not sign whatsoever anywhere that it is connected to the motorbike. I went in settings / periphirals / remote control, it just does not seemed to be paired to anything and when I press pair, it does not succeed:
AIO-6 remote controller dialogue
AIO 6 home-screen
To exclude any problems with my motorbike, I mounted back the navigator 5, this one connects with the wonderwheel and shows vehicle data such as engine temperature, milage etc.:

Does anyone have experience with this setup? The AIO-6 is updated to the latest firmware.
