My config :
Model: Chigee AIO-5 Play for BMW
Motorcycle: BMW GS 1300 full options (navigator, magic wheel, etc.)
Smartphone: Android custom ROM
Helmet with Sena SC2 intercom
Connections:
- Smartphone <-> AIO-5
- SC2 <-> GS1300
- Smartphone <-> GS1300
Once everything is connected and the AIO-5 is set up for the trip, I exit navigation mode to switch back to pure ride mode. This is the only way I’ve found to adjust the media volume using the magic wheel.
#1 Allow the ability to Enable/Disable the sound of the AIO-5 when the motorcycle starts.
#2 Allow the ability to Enable/Disable the sound of the AIO-5 when the motorcycle stops.
#3 Improve the connection between the phone and the Chigee:
- Conflict between Bluetooth connections of different nearby devices.
- Conflict with nearby Wi-Fi networks (home Wi-Fi or other access points).
- Loss of connection between the smartphone and the AIO-5 while riding.
#4 The magic wheel is used to adjust the volume, but sometimes it doesn't work.
#5 The AIO-5 is mounted on the accessory bar of the GS1300, on the original navigation support. In this case, the integration is perfect. However, the buttons on the top edge of the AIO-5 are inaccessible because the mount covers the buttons. Only the right button is accessible. It would be more advantageous to have the power button for the screen placed in this position.
