App location permissions & downloading files

I understand the app may need location permission to scan for Bluetooth LE devices (Android 6.0 - 11 require this, Android 12 and later can use BLUETOOTH_SCAN).  But why does the app also indicate that the location may be shared with 3rd parties? That seems unnecessary in order to download videos to my phone.

As an alternative to using the App to download videos, can the device make the files available over for example HTTP?  The device (http://192.168.1.1) is already running a web server.  And some files can be downloaded (http://192.168.1.1/mnt/emmc/Datalog/riding_data.db ).  
Please publish the details on how the videos can be downloaded as well.  This would allow the community to for example develop a server to automate syncing when the device pulls into the garage. This can easily be accomplished with a Raspberry Pi that conencts to the CHIGEE-xxxx wifi and then downloads any new videos.  Uploading to Youtube could even be automated...

It seems Chigee is very much in support of the community extending their product's functionality (they're publishing drawings to support 3D printing for example). Please publish the details on how to access videos from the device as well.
