Fuel gauge for BMW R nineT
The BMW R nineT and BMW R12 motorcycles do not have a fuel gauge, we never know how much fuel the bike has, it just has a warning light when it reaches reserve level, however it does display average fuel consumption, instantaneous fuel consumption, etc. I have a R nineT with the Chigee 5 BMW installed.
It would be a trivial thing to add a widget that would take as input the fuel filled, whenever we filled it and then monitor consumption to calculate how much fuel and range we have left. This would plug a long time complaint for these bikes and I actually think it would be a selling point for these particular bikes the lack of which all owners complain about all over the internet.
I would be more than happy to be a guinea pig and help you alpha/beta test it if you'd like.
