Fusion Mode - Suggestions for the Developers
On the weekened I got to try out Fusion mode with my AIO-5 Lite. I'd like to list a few things for the developers' consideration:
- Allow users to swap between modes using the unit's "Home" button on top of the unit that we now use to swap between Carplay and Chigee's native mode. ie. Carplay - Fusion - Chigee, etc.
- Allow users to configure which data to display in Fusion mode. eg. allow us to select from the built-in trip computer, speedo, rear camera, tyre pressures (front AND rear).
In Point 1, we have to go through a convoluted process in order to enable or to disable Fusion mode starting with turning off the phone's connection to the AIO-5 Lite. The process isn't immediately obvious when doing it, especially for the first time. Being able to cycle through the different modes using the hardware button at the top of the unit would make things so much easier and simpler to do.
In Point 2, if, under Settings, we could select which data to display in Fusion mode, then that too would be great.
And finally, the overall look is really too small to easily read at a glance, especially if you're trying to follow a mapped route. So, perhaps make the Carplay side a bit bigger and reduced the screen area for the Chigee side?
