I've tried a number of power blocks (2A-5A) and many cables (Apple laptop cables, premium aftermarket etc) all of which work fine with any other device  I have.

The screen stays dark (using the port next to the memory card).   The device works find on the cradle, but seems dead with usb-C power.  No boot, no nothing.
