Lean Angle Sensor very inaccurate

Lean Angle Sensor very inaccurate

I have my 6 mounted on my handle bar clamp on a Moto Guzzi V85.   Have run the lean angle calibration.  It is accurate at zero.

But as angle increases the error amount increases it seems.  Always high.

My BMW GS can display lean angle from the internal IMU. The lean angle data shown on my BMW while I ride seems reasonable.  I have ridden with that data for years so have a feel for what 20,30,40 degrees feels like and my typical lean angles on certain roads.

On those same roads at the same pace my 6 on my V85 displays wildly large lean angles.  Where my BMW would show 42-46 degrees the 6 shows 55+ degrees of lean angle.

Now.  While I am riding at pace, and lean angles in the mid 40s on my GS were reasonable, lean angles in the mid to high 50s is laughable.  So maybe 20% inaccurate to the high side.

No change after calibrating the 6 for lean angle.

Are others experiencing this inaccuracy and what can be done to get more accurate lean angle data from the 6

Thanks
