It would be good if we could communicate with the device from the app for a period of time with the ignition off.

E.g. I park up at a pub during or after a ride and want to look a videos captured. I could start download mode and have the unit stay active after shutting off the bike but with the screen dark. After 10 mins of inactivity the unit could shut off as normal.

You could even make this normal behaviour where you could wake the unit up via BT for a short period after turning off, allowing this to start the WiFi download mode from the app.
