AIO-6 Dashboard Does Not Display Brake Light or Turn Signal Icons

When your AIO-6 is paired with compatible Chigee accessories to read real-time vehicle data (including Brake Light status and Turn Signal activation), the device automatically captures this information from your motorcycle.
However, you will notice that these specific icons do not appear on the AIO-6 riding dashboard. This is by design. Instead of displaying them on the screen (which would be redundant to your bike's own dashboard), the AIO-6 captures this data in the background and overlays it onto your video recordings.

Prerequisites for Data Overlay

For the Brake and Turn Signal data to be successfully recorded and overlaid, the following specific conditions must be met:

  1. Hardware: using the AIO-6 equipped with the BMW Wonder Wheel (Quick Release) Module, or AIO-6 connects to the CGRC LIN controller wirelessly via Bluetooth.
  2. Data Transmission: The BMW motorcycle must be communicating normally with the module. The system must be able to successfully read and decode the specific CAN bus signals for brakes and turn signals from your bike.
  3. Cameras: cameras must be installed to generate the video files.

How to View the Data

Please note that this data is processed for playback analysis only.
  • Live Dashboard: Icons are NOT displayed while riding.
  • App Preview: Icons are NOT visible in the real-time camera preview.
  • Video Playback: The Brake and Turn Signal icons are ONLY visible when you view the full playback of the recorded video within the CHIGEE GO App (or after downloading the file).
Troubleshooting: If you review your downloaded footage and do not see these icons, please ensure your motorcycle model supports the output of these specific signals via the navigation prep mount.
