BMW Cradle Compatibility (for CHIGEE Display)

Goal: Help you quickly check if your BMW navigation cradle works with the CHIGEE Display(Only AIO-5 Play for BMW & AIO-6 with BMW Quick-Release)

Supported BMW cradles (quick visual)

  • BMW Nav Prep 5/6 (aka Navigator V/VI mount): Has key lock, no buttons on the front bezel.
  • BMW ConnectedRide Mount – Keyless/Electric (motor-driven latch): Newer electronic latch used on many 2024–2026+ models.

BMW Navigator IV Cradle Not supported

  • Any BMW cradle with front/bezel buttons
    • Examples: older 4-button Navigator cradles with +/− or page/menu icons.

Common questions

  1. Can other CHIGEE models use BMW cradles? No—only AIO-5 Play for BMW and AIO-6 with the BMW Quick-Release Module.
  2. Have a buttoned cradle—what are my options? Replace the cradle with a supported one, or use the CG Quick-Release ecosystem instead (non-BMW base).
