The CGRC LIN and CGRC CAN modules are designed with power-saving behavior to protect your motorcycle’s battery.

Normal Operation

• When you turn off the motorcycle key and the battery is disconnected, the module will no longer receive continuous power.
• The module is vibration-activated — it only powers on after the motorcycle is started and detects movement.
• Typically, within 1–2 minutes after shutting down the motorcycle, the module’s indicator light will turn off automatically.

Important Note

If the indicator light stays on continuously after shutdown:

• The module will continue to draw a small amount of power from your motorcycle battery.
• Although the power consumption is minimal, leaving it like this for an extended period may eventually drain the motorcycle battery.

What to Do If This Happens

1. Immediately unplug the module from your motorcycle.
2. Take a photo of the back of the module.
3. Send the photo to Chigee Support.

Our team will verify the issue. If it is confirmed as a module fault, we will arrange to send you a replacement unit.
