CHIGEE Display Does Not Support AMPS Adaptors

The CHIGEE Display uses a proprietary mounting hole design and spacing that is unique to CHIGEE. This design is different from the AMPS standard, which is a screw pattern commonly used by Garmin, TomTom, and other navigation devices and phone holders. Because the mounting patterns do not match, AMPS adaptors are not compatible and cannot be used with the CHIGEE Display.

Mounting Security & Durability

The CHIGEE Display is heavier and more advanced than typical GPS units or phone holders. Motorcycles expose devices to constant vibration, bumps, and weather, so mounting security is critical. AMPS adaptors cannot provide the same level of locking strength and stability as official CHIGEE mounts.
