Zoom Navigation Maps with BMW Wonder Wheel

Before You Begin

  • Ensure the “Vertical Scrolling” option is enabled on your Chigee Display:
    Settings → Features → RC → Enable Vertical Scrolling

  • Please note: The Chigee Display projects navigation maps through CarPlay or Android Auto.
    • You cannot use shortcut keys or the Wonder Wheel to directly zoom in/out within the map app.
    • This is a limitation of the projected navigation app, not of the Chigee Display.

To Zoom In:

  1. Move cursor to highlight the "+" symbol
  2. Short press to the right
  3. Map will zoom in

To Zoom Out:

  1. Scroll down to highlight the "-" symbol
  2. Short press to the right
  3. Map will zoom out

Note: Not all navigation apps are fully compatible with Android Auto/CarPlay zoom controls. This is an app-specific limitation, not a device issue.
