OBD Module — Direct Connection Only (No Splitters, No Daisy-Chain)

The CHIGEE OBD module must be connected directly to your motorcycle’s OBD port.

  • Do NOT daisy-chain or run it in parallel with other devices.
  • Do NOT use Y-splitters, extension hubs, or any kind of OBD divider.
Any setup that is not a direct plug-in to the bike’s OBD port can cause the OBD module to malfunction or not work at all.

Why direct-only?

  • The bike’s OBD/CAN bus expects one device at that connector.
  • Splitters/parallel devices change bus impedance, create address/contention and timing issues, and can prevent proper wake/handshake.
