The SIM status icon on your CHIGEE display shows whether the 4G network and SIM card are working correctly.
Below is what each icon means.
1. Grey signal bars with an “x”
Meaning:
No 4G dongle is detected, and the device has been powered on for less than 60 seconds.
2. Red “4G” with a slash

Meaning:
No 4G Module/SIM card is detected.
3. Signal bars with a yellow exclamation mark

Meaning:
SIM card verification failed.
For overseas non-CHIGEE official SIM cards, this usually means the SIM service has expired. Please top up on Chigee Go App.
4. Signal bars with a blue dot

Meaning:
Using a non-CHIGEE official SIM card overseas. The device is online and the SIM is working normally.
5. Signal bars with a blue question mark

Meaning:
4G coverage is detected in the area, but the device failed to register on the network.
6. Normal signal bars (red/white)

Meaning:
The device is connected to the network.
Different bar heights indicate different signal strengths (more bars = stronger signal).
7. Red SIM card icon

Meaning:
CHIGEE IoT SIM card is out of credit or about to run out.
