If you're experiencing delayed or sluggish screen response on your Chigee Display while using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, this behavior is expected and not a device malfunction.
Reason for the Delay:
When your Chigee Display is projecting content via Android Auto or CarPlay, the interface is controlled by your phone, not the Chigee system itself. This means:
All touch inputs are first sent from the display to your smartphone.
Your phone processes the input and sends back the updated screen content.
This back-and-forth communication can cause noticeable lag, especially with:
How to Improve Responsiveness:
Ensure you're connected via 5GHz Wi-Fi, not 2.4GHz:
Go to the Car Link screen on your Chigee Display
Tap the Settings icon, and select 5G instead of 2.4G
Close unused apps on your phone to free up memory.
Avoid running intensive apps in the background during projection.
Try testing with a newer or higher-performance smartphone to see if the responsiveness improves.
Note: This delay is a common limitation of all wireless Android Auto and CarPlay systems—it is not caused by a fault in the Chigee Display hardware.
