AIO-6 LTE - Some Countries Require IMEI/IoT Registration

In certain countries, devices that use a SIM card (phones, trackers, IoT hardware) must be registered with the national telecom authority. If not registered, the network may block the IMEI after an initial grace period.
Typical symptom: Your SIM worked at first and then suddenly stopped (no 4G, “no service,” or data won’t pass).
Example: In Chile, all cellular/IoT devices must be registered by IMEI with the Superintendence of Telecommunications (SUBTEL). Unregistered devices can be barred from the network.

What you should do

  1. Find your IMEI

    • On the display: Settings → About → Network → IMEI
  2. Check your country’s rules – Search your national regulator or ask your mobile carrier about IMEI/IoT device registration requirements.

  3. Register the device – Provide IMEI, brand = CHIGEE, model = AIO-6 LTE, and any other info requested.

  4. Wait for approval/propagation – This can take hours to a few days depending on the authority/carrier.

  5. Reboot & recheck
    • Power-cycle the display.
    • Verify APN settings if your carrier requires a custom APN.
    • Confirm you have an active data plan and adequate signal at your location.
Info
Registration policies are country-specific and can change—please follow your local authority’s latest guidance.
Using an unregistered device where registration is mandatory may lead to temporary service followed by a block.
If you travel internationally, the target country may also require IMEI registration to use local SIMs.
