Adjust Speed, Tilt Angle, and TPMS Source on BMW Dashboard

Adjust Speed, Tilt Angle, and TPMS Source on BMW Dashboard

AIO-6 Display supports displaying speed and tilt angle information directly on BMW-specific dashboard interface — but only when the device is installed via the BMW Navigation Cradle. You can choose whether the data comes from the BMW motorcycle itself or from the CHIGEE Display.

How to Adjust Speed & Tilt Angle Display

To configure how speed and tilt angle are displayed:

  1. On your CHIGEE Display, go to:
    Settings > Features > More
(Scroll down to find the options below)

  2. Enable:

    • GPS Speed – allows the dashboard to show speed based on the CHIGEE GPS data.
    • BMW Dashboard Shows Tilt Angle Data – allows the CHIGEE Display’s tilt data to be shown on the dashboard if the bike lacks a built-in tilt sensor.

These options only work when the device is connected to the BMW Navigation Cradle.

TPMS Data Source Configuration

If your BMW motorcycle is equipped with a built-in TPMS, you do not need to purchase the CHIGEE TPMS sensors.

To select the correct data source:

  1. Go to the TPMS settings page in the CHIGEE Display.
  2. Select NAV as the source instead of CG TPMS.

This enables your BMW’s factory-installed TPMS to display tire pressure data directly on the CHIGEE Display.

Notes

  • Some BMW models do not have built-in tilt sensors.
    • If the tilt angle option is disabled, and your BMW lacks its own sensor, the tilt data will remain blank on the dashboard.
    • If the option is enabled, the CHIGEE Display will send its own tilt angle data to be shown.
  • For speed:

    • If you prefer to use the CHIGEE Display’s GPS speed instead of the BMW’s native reading (or if your bike does not provide speed data to the cradle), enable the GPS Speed option.
