Unbinding a device / Cannot receive verification code (Apple "Hide My Email")

Standard Unbinding Process

If you registered your account using a standard email address, you can unbind your device directly within the app:
  1. Open the Chigee GO app.
  2. Tap "My" in the bottom right corner.
  3. Go to "My Devices".
  4. Tap the edit icon and select the option to delete the device.
  5. Follow the prompts to receive and enter your verification code to complete the process.

Troubleshooting: Apple "Hide My Email" Users

The Issue: If you used Apple’s "Hide My Email" feature to register your Chigee account, the system allows the registration, but the hidden email address blocks the verification codes. Because a code is required to verify the deletion, you will not be able to unbind the device yourself.
The Solution: To resolve this, our support team must manually unbind the device for you. To protect your security and verify ownership, please provide the following to Chigee Support:
  1. Proof of Purchase: A clear copy of your receipt or invoice demonstrating that the device was purchased through an authorized channel.
  2. Screenshot 1 ("My Devices" page): Open the Chigee GO app, navigate to "My" > "My Devices", and take a screenshot.
  3. Screenshot 2 (Deletion page): Tap the edit icon, select the option to delete the device, and take a screenshot of the resulting screen.
Please email your proof of purchase and both screenshots to our support team, and we will process the unbinding for you as quickly as possible.
