Yes, you can use the XR-1 with only the rear camera connected. Simply plug in the rear camera cable, and the XR-1 will record normally with the rear camera only. Follow the guidelines below to ensure proper setup:
1. Cable Connection
The cable labeled "cam b" must be connected to the rear camera port.
Make sure to match the "cam b" label on the cable to the corresponding port.
Do not connect it to the front camera port.
2. Unused Front Camera Port
If you do not plan to use the front camera, leave its cable unconnected.
Protect the unused connector with a cover, such as electrical tape or a dust cap.
This prevents dust accumulation or potential damage to the port.
