What Does “Factory Reset” Do? (CHIGEE Display)

Applies to: AIO-5 / AIO-6 / XR-2 and other CHIGEE displays

After you perform a Factory Reset:
  • Device settings are restored to defaults (system and feature options).
  • All Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairing records are cleared.
  • Storage is not formatted. Your dashcam video files remain on the device/SD card.

Want to remove videos too?
Go to Dashcam/Recorder → Storage/SD Card → Format to erase recorded files. (Formatting is separate from Factory Reset.)

After reset, remember to:
Re-pair your Bluetooth headset, reconnect Wi-Fi/hotspot, and re-apply any custom settings.
