Why Does the AIO-5 Play For BMW Display Speed as Even Numbers Only?
The AIO-5 Play for BMW directly reads the original BMW speed data through BMW Nav Prep. However, the original speed values outputted by BMW Nav Prep need to be doubled to reflect the actual speed. After doubling, any whole number will always be an even number. This is a limitation imposed by BMW Nav Prep, which restricts the AIO-5 Play for BMW to displaying only even speed values.
In contrast, the AIO-5 Lite and AIO-5 Play do not rely on BMW Nav Prep for speed data. As a result, they are not subject to this limitation and can display both even and odd speed values.
