The CHIGEE TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) measures your motorcycle’s tire pressure and temperature in real time. It’s normal to notice significant data changes between riding and resting periods — this is due to natural physical effects related to temperature and air pressure.
When your motorcycle is parked, the tires gradually cool down, and both temperature and air pressure drop.
The tire pressure values shown on the display during rest reflect the final state of your last ride, when the tires were still warm and the pressure was higher.
Once you start riding again, the tires begin to heat up, and the pressure will rise accordingly. This results in noticeable differences between readings taken before and after a ride — even though the system and sensors are functioning normally.
During riding, tire temperature increases due to friction with the road surface, causing the air inside the tire to expand and the pressure to rise.
When the bike is parked, the temperature drops, the air contracts, and the measured pressure decreases.
This fluctuation is a normal physical phenomenon and does not indicate a TPMS malfunction.
