Wonderwheel Control and Data Reading Suddenly Stopped Working

If your CHIGEE Display’s wonderwheel controls or data reading were working properly but have suddenly become inconsistent or stopped, the issue might be caused by the following:

If you are using the CGRC CAN/LIN Module

  1. Check whether the CGRC Module is working normally. The status light on the module should show a steady blue light during normal operation. Navigate to Settings  > Features >  RC, switch the RC Type to "CGRC"
  2. If the blue light is not steady (e.g., flashing red or no light), there may be an issue with the module or the BMWs power/data connection.
  3. Also, check your BMW’s electrical system, including the ECU and battery, for any intermittent issues that could affect communication.

If Using the BMW Navigation Cradle

1. Check your BMW

2. Clean All Connection Points

  1. Metal contacts on the BMW Prep
  2. BMW Nav Prep 3-pin connector (male)
  3. Motorcycle 3-pin connector (female)

3. Check RC Type on Settings

（1）Navigate to Settings  > Features >  RC, switch the RC Type to "Nav"

（2）Or long-press the indicator to change the "TFT~Nav" logo to "Nav"
