Why the AIO-6 feels warm during use

Understand normal AIO-6 warmth, its stated operating range, and what details to send if heat comes with faults.

The AIO-6 can feel warm during use. Its high-brightness screen and processor generate heat, especially in direct sunlight or while the motorcycle is stationary with limited airflow.

The dark housing also absorbs sunlight, which can raise the surface temperature. Warmth alone does not indicate a fault.

Operating conditions

The AIO-6 is specified for an operating environment of −20 °C to +70 °C. Development and production testing includes high and low temperatures, thermal cycling and prolonged sun exposure. This environmental range is not a limit for judging the housing temperature by touch.

If warmth is accompanied by shutdowns, repeated restarts or another fault, contact us with the serial number, firmware version, ambient conditions and a description or video of the behavior.
