AIO-6 LTE – 4G SIM Card Has No Signal or Fails to Work

AIO-6 LTE – 4G SIM Card Has No Signal or Fails to Work

If your AIO-6 LTE is not receiving a 4G signal, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.

Requirements for 4G to Work

To use 4G features, make sure that:

  • 1. You have inserted a supported SIM card that works in your country and city.
  • 2. Your device’s Region setting matches your SIM card’s country of registration.

Step 1: Check SIM Card & Activation

  • 1. Insert your SIM card into an unlocked smartphone to confirm it connects to 4G and can access the internet.
  • 2. If using the CHIGEE-provided SIM, confirm it is activated; if using your own SIM, complete any required activation steps with your carrier.
  • 3. After verification, reinsert the SIM card into your AIO-6 LTE and restart the device.
  • 4. If possible, also test with a different SIM card that you know works in your area.

Step 2: Check APN Settings

  • Some carriers require manual APN (Access Point Name) setup. Contact your SIM provider if you are unsure.
  • Example: Many European SIM cards use the APN “bicsapn”.
  • Enter the correct APN, save, and restart the device.

Step 3: Update AIO-6 Firmware & Chigee Go App

  • Update your AIO-6 firmware via Settings > Update.
  • Update the Chigee Go App to the latest version.

Step 4: Check Network Environment

open Settings → About → Network on the device and confirm you see a carrier name and populated Network Strength & Speed. Network Strength is RSSI (dBm)—the closer to 0, the better; ≥ −85 dBm is generally good, −86 to −100 dBm is weak, and < −100 dBm usually means little or no service.
  • Move your motorcycle outdoors and away from buildings, as indoor, basement, or tunnel use can block 4G signals.
  • In some regions, 4G signal quality may be weak due to limited carrier infrastructure, even if other areas in the same country have good coverage.

Step 5: Contact Support

If you have completed all steps but still cannot receive a 4G signal, please provide the following to CHIGEE Support:

  • 1. Your country and city
  • 2. A photo of your device’s serial number and firmware version (Settings > About)
  • 3. A screenshot or photo of the Network page (Settings > About > Network)

Our support team will review your setup and assist you in restoring 4G connectivity.
