Start by ensuring all connection points are clean and secure:
Remove the CHIGEE Display from the cradle
Inspect and clean the following in this order:
– The contact points on the back of the main unit
– The BMW Nav Prep metal contacts
– The 3-pin male connector on your motorcycle
– The 3-pin female connector on the BMW Nav Prep cradle
Reattach the CHIGEE Display securely and ensure it sits firmly in the cradle
On the CHIGEE Display, go to: Settings > Features > TPMS
In the upper right corner, check the selected data source
Make sure “Nav” is selected — this allows the device to use BMW’s factory TPMS data via the Nav Prep connection
If you've completed all steps above and:
TPMS data is still not showing,
But other data such as speed, gear, or fuel is displayed correctly —
This likely means one of the following:
Your BMW does not have factory-installed TPMS sensors, or
Your BMW does not output TPMS data through the Nav Prep system (this is common with certain models like the BMW R1200 GS)
If you're unsure whether your model supports TPMS output, we recommend checking your BMW’s specifications or consulting your local dealer.
