BT Mode on CHIGEE Carlink: When and How to Use

What is BT Mode?
BT Mode allows you to connect your phone to the Chigee Display when you don’t want to use CarPlay or Android Auto. In this mode, you can control music playback from your phone directly through the Chigee Display.
👉 Important: You must also connect your phone to a Bluetooth helmet or headphones at the same time. Audio is transmitted through the helmet/headphones, not through the Display itself.

How to Switch to BT Mode

  1. If your phone is connected via CarPlay or Android Auto, first disconnect Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  2. On the Chigee Display, toggle the Carlink mode to BT mode.
  3. Turn Bluetooth back on your phone.
  4. Connect your phone to the Chigee Display in BT mode.

⚠️ Note:
If you want to use CarPlay or Android Auto together with a Bluetooth helmet, do not enable BT Mode. In that case, connect your helmet/headphones directly to your phone’s Bluetooth instead.
