Parking Monitor Mode: How It Works

Parking Monitor Mode: How It Works

The parking monitor automatically records footage when vibration is detected after turning off your motorcycle's engine.

Applicable Models

  • CHIGEE Display with camera, such as:
    • AIO-5 Lite
    • XR-2
    • AIO-6 (with camera)

How to Enable Parking Monitor

1. On the CHIGEE Display, go to the Dashcam interface (showing both camera views).
2. Tap the DVR video area once.
3. A dashcam function menu will appear — select the rightmost settings icon.
4. Turn on Parking Monitor.
5. Adjust the sensor sensitivity according to your needs.

Here's how it works

After shutting off the engine, the CHIGEE display enters a low-power standby mode. If vibration is sensed, the device will power on (taking around 12 seconds) and immediately begin recording 60 seconds of footage from both cameras.
Once vibration triggers recording, if you then start the engine, a pop-up notification on the display will alert you that new parking monitor video is available for viewing.

Notes
  1. The power cable must be properly connected to the battery's positive/negative terminals and the ACC wire
  2. Parking monitor mode draws minimal current, and has low-voltage auto-shutdown to prevent battery drain if voltage drops below 12V
