If one wheel on the tire pressure monitor shows no data, start with the battery (for external sensors), then isolate whether it’s a pairing issue, a wheel/position issue, or a faulty sensor.
Applies to: Chigee Display TPMS, G3 TPMS
Replace the battery (External sensors first) — highest success rate
Model: Use BR1225A coin battery (user-replaceable).
Replace the non-working external sensor’s battery, re-install, and wait 1–2 minutes (or ride briefly) to wake it.
If it starts working after battery replacement → the old battery was depleted.
Tip: Check polarity, keep the O-ring clean, and hand-tighten the cap.
Re-pair (match) the sensor
Open the TPMS pairing screen and relearn the sensor for the position that shows no data.
Save and wait 1–2 minutes for the first reading (ride above ~20–30 km/h to wake the sensor if needed).
Swap front ↔ rear sensors
Physically swap the two sensors (front ↔ rear), then check readings again.
If the problem follows the same sensor → that sensor is likely faulty.
If the problem stays on the same wheel position → re-check pairing for that position; inspect the valve/core, wiring/receiver placement, and possible RF interference.
External Tire Pressure Sensors
Battery is user-replaceable → BR1225A.
Carry a spare; replace both front & rear if batteries are old to keep readings consistent.
Internal Tire Pressure Sensors
Battery is not replaceable.
When depleted, you’ll need to purchase a new internal sensor (tire/wheel removal required for service).
