Reduce frequent BSD alerts on your CHIGEE Display

Adjust camera-based BSD sensitivity and activation speed separately to reduce frequent alerts on your CHIGEE Display.

To reduce frequent Blind Spot Detection (BSD) alerts on your CHIGEE Display, adjust sensitivity and activation speed separately.

Adjust BSD sensitivity and speed

Open Settings > Features > BSD on your supported CHIGEE Display.

  1. Set sensitivity to Standard if you only want alerts for vehicles approaching from behind. High can also alert for vehicles in the detection zone that are not approaching.

  2. Choose the speed activation setting separately. For example, 20 km/h activates BSD above 20 km/h. Standard is a sensitivity setting, not a speed threshold.

  3. Review the settings before your next ride. Alerts should follow the sensitivity and activation speed you selected.

If alerts are still too frequent, check the rear camera position and angle using the BSD troubleshooting guide.

For all available activation speeds and GPS limitations, see the BSD setup guide.
