Set up parking monitoring on the XR-1

Enable vibration-triggered parking recordings, check the power wiring, and understand the 60-second clips and battery cutoff.

XR-1 parking monitoring wakes the dashcam to record 60 seconds of footage when vibration is detected after you turn off the ignition. With both cameras connected, the recording covers the front and rear views.

Check the power wiring

XR-1 parking monitoring requires a constant battery connection as well as the accessory (ACC) ignition signal. Connect the supplied power cable as follows:

  • Red wire: Motorcycle battery positive terminal

  • Black wire: Motorcycle battery negative terminal

  • Yellow wire: Motorcycle ACC terminal

The supplied harness includes a 3 A fuse. See Install and set up your XR-1 dashcam for installation precautions.

Turn on parking monitoring

Open the XR-1 settings in the CHIGEE GO App to enable parking monitoring.

  1. Connect your phone to the XR-1 in the CHIGEE GO App.

  2. Open Dashcam View > Settings.

  3. Open Parking Monitoring and choose High, Medium or Low. The default sensitivity is Medium; Off disables parking monitoring.

  4. Check that your chosen sensitivity is shown. After a parking event, reconnect to the XR-1 and review the saved footage in the app.

What happens while parked?

The XR-1 stays in low-power standby after the ignition is turned off. When vibration triggers parking monitoring, the cameras record for 60 seconds.

Standby consumption is approximately 350 μA. The XR-1 shuts off below 11.8 V to limit battery drain. See Will XR-1 parking monitoring drain my motorcycle battery?.

If no parking recording appears

  • Check that Parking Monitoring is not set to Off.

  • Check that the XR-1 has a constant battery connection and the ACC wire is connected correctly.

  • Check the microSD card and camera connections. Low-voltage shutdown prevents parking monitoring from operating.

If the problem continues, contact us with your XR-1 serial number, firmware version, parking sensitivity, and photos of the power wiring. Include the event time and any voice alert.
