The XR-1 starts recording automatically when you turn on your motorcycle's ignition. Once installation and activation are complete, you do not need to press a button or open the CHIGEE GO App for each ride.
Check recording before you ride
The XR-1 needs a working microSD card and connected cameras. A flashing red light on the main unit indicates recording; a solid red light indicates a card, camera or other fault.
Listen for any voice alert and check a reported problem before setting off. See Install and set up your XR-1 dashcam for activation and status lights.
What happens after you park?
With Parking Monitoring enabled and the power cable correctly connected, the XR-1 enters low-power standby after the ignition is turned off. Vibration or impact can wake the dashcam to record.
