The TR100 can power compatible phones, tablets and laptops from the motorcycle battery. Check your device's supported charging voltage, protocol and power; a USB connector alone does not establish compatibility.
Check power and port use
The TR100 is rated for up to 100 W output. The manual lists USB-C profiles of 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 3 A, 12 V / 3 A, 15 V / 3 A and 20 V / 5 A, plus PPS at 3.3–21 V / 3 A.
When USB-C and USB-A are used together, the manual specifies 5 V / 3 A output. Do not expect 100 W fast charging while using both ports.
Use a cable rated for the intended charging power. See Choose a USB cable for the TR100.
Check that charging has started
Select USB output mode, disconnecting the charging cable before changing modes.
Connect your compatible USB device and check its charging indication.
A breathing green TR100 light indicates normal output charging; fast-breathing green indicates fast output charging. If the device does not charge, check its requirements, cable and motorcycle battery voltage.
The manual advises keeping the engine running when supplying high-power devices to preserve the motorcycle battery. Run the engine only in a suitably ventilated location.
The TR100 cuts USB output when motorcycle battery voltage falls below 12 V. A flashing yellow light indicates low battery voltage.
If your device will not charge
Try a compatible cable and check the device's charging requirements. If the issue continues, contact us with the device model, cable rating, ports in use, TR100 light pattern and battery voltage if available.
