TR100 user guide and indicator lights

Understand TR100 two-way charging, status lights, sleep mode and protection features before using the charger.

The TR100 transfers power in two directions: from your motorcycle battery to USB devices, or from an external USB power source to the motorcycle battery. Its maximum charging power is 100 W, subject to the connected equipment and cable.

Choose the charging task

To charge the motorcycle battery, follow Charge your motorcycle battery with the TR100. To power a phone, tablet or laptop, see Charge USB devices with the TR100.

The TR100 is for a 12 V battery system. Check TR100 battery compatibility before connecting an external charging source.

Read the TR100 indicator

The following indicators describe TR100 operating status. Battery-type selection is a separate setting.

  • Breathing green: normal USB output charging

  • Fast-breathing green: fast USB output charging

  • Steady blue: battery charging mode selected, or battery fully charged

  • Breathing blue: battery maintenance charging

  • Fast-breathing blue: fast battery charging

  • Steady red: power-controller temperature is high

  • Flashing yellow: motorcycle battery voltage is low

  • Flashing red: a fault requiring technical support

A steady blue light alone does not distinguish a selected charging mode from a full battery. Consider whether charging has started and the battery's condition.

Sleep and protection features

The TR100 enters low-power sleep after 30 seconds without activity. Connecting a device wakes it.

The manual lists a 12–16 V operating range. When motorcycle battery voltage falls below 12 V, the TR100 cuts power to connected USB devices. This is output protection, not a guarantee that a parked battery cannot discharge.

The manual lists thermal protection at 95°C, limiting maximum power to 30 W. Keep the power module away from engine heat and other heat sources.

Care and fault checks

The TR100 is rated IP66. Do not immerse it in water. Fit the waterproof plugs correctly before washing the motorcycle. Do not disassemble or modify the charger.

If the TR100 flashes red, contact us with a video of the light pattern, your battery label, power-source specifications and cable details. If a motorcycle dashboard warning appears during charging, disconnect the external charging source and have the warning checked before retrying.
