2025-2026 R/RS/RT: BMW ConnectedRide Electric Keyless Cradle Compatibility

For BMW motorcycles equipped with the new keyless ConnectedRide Cradle (Part No. 65 90 5 B6C 8C0), users may experience the following issues due to a change in the communication protocol:
  • WonderWheel control and data reading are unavailable.
  • The BMW TFT may show a constant disconnect/reconnect loop (e.g., “TFT–NAV Detected, hold up...”).
To resolve this, please update your device firmware as per the instructions below.

AIO-6 MAX/LTE

Firmware Requirement:
Please ensure your AIO-6 device is updated to firmware version [1.6.2] or higher.

AIO-5 Play (BMW Version)

Firmware Requirement:
Please ensure your AIO-5 Play device is updated to firmware version [1.7.1] or higher.

This issue affects all BMW motorcycles that come factory-equipped with the new ConnectedRide Mount, including but not limited to:

2026 R1300GS
2025–2026 R1300RT
2025–2026 R1300RS

How to Update:
1. On your Chigee device, go to Settings > System Update.
2. Tap Check for Updates.
      Note: If the required version is currently in beta, please select Check Beta Versions to access it.
3. Install the update.
