Power AIO-6 via USB-C (Pre-Install/Test)
AIO-6 Display can be temporarily powered via the USB-C diagnostic port located on the right side of the device, next to the SD card slot. This can be useful for initial setup or testing before full installation.
Important Note: Using USB-C power requires opening the waterproof cover, which leaves the port vulnerable to water exposure. We strongly advise against using USB-C power during actual riding, as water ingress could damage the device.
Power Limitations and Safety
If the device does not power on via USB-C, Please try the following steps:
- Use a different USB-A to USB-C cable (preferably a high-quality, data-capable cable)

- Ensure your power adapter supports at least 5V/2A output
- Try a different USB power adapter or power bank
- Avoid using high-output chargers, which may trigger the device’s protection mechanism and block power input
If the device still fails to power on, the issue is almost always related to the power source, not a defect in the device.
If the AIO-6 powers on via USB-C but later shuts down unexpectedly, displays a black screen, or restarts frequently, this typically indicates insufficient or unstable power — again, not an early hardware failure.
For reliable and safe operation — including during the initial setup — we strongly recommend powering the device using one of the following methods instead of USB:
About the Rear Main Wiring Port
Please note: the Main Wiring Harness Port on the back of the device cannot be powered via USB. It is designed only for connection to the CHIGEE harness for permanent motorcycle installations.
Recommended Alternative: AIO-5 Play
If USB power is your preferred method and you don't require camera support, consider our AIO-5 Play model. It is more suitable for light setups and temporary USB use scenarios.
