Fix Parking Monitoring or Anti-Theft Alarm Not Working

Applies to: CHIGEE Display with dashcam (e.g., AIO-6 LTE, AIO-5 Lite, AIO-5 EVO)

1) Confirm the feature & how it triggers

  • Enable it: Display → Device Recorder → Settings → Parking Monitoring (turn ON).
  • Sensitivity: Set High for testing.
  • Trigger logic: Alerts are fired by the display’s built-in G-sensor. You must tap/nudge the display itself—shaking the bike may not trigger if the display doesn’t feel it.

2) Check wiring (most common cause)

  • Required: Red → Battery +12 V (fuse 2–3 A), Black → Battery −/ground, Yellow → true ACC (ignition-switched +12 V). 
  • If Red is on ACC (or the unit loses power at key-off), Parking Monitoring/Anti-Theft cannot run when parked. Introduction to Wiring & Power (CHIGEE Display)
  • BMW cradle quick test: With engine ON, undock the display:
    • Shuts off immediately → cradle/bike wiring incorrect.
    • Stays on → power/ACC correct.

3) Battery & Low-Voltage Protection (AIO-6 LTE only)

  • In CHIGEE GO → Home → Feature Settings → Low Voltage Protection, keep the threshold around 11.8 V.
  • If battery falls below the threshold, the display disables Parking Monitoring, Remote View, Anti-Theft, and 4G Live until voltage recovers.
  • Tip: Verify resting battery > 11.8 V with a multimeter.

  1. Enable Parking Monitoring; set Sensitivity = High.
  2. Confirm wiring (Red Battery+ fused / Black − / Yellow ACC).
  3. Key OFF, wait 30–60 s; gently tap the display.
  4. On AIO-6 LTE, verify battery > threshold and 4G is present; check the app for alert.
