A compatible CHIGEE Display can control one supported action camera at a time. Insta360 and GoPro support live preview; supported DJI cameras offer controls without live preview.
Camera and firmware compatibility

The documented baseline action-camera control releases are AIO-6 v1.6.2 beta, AIO-5 Play v1.7.1 beta and AIO-5 Lite v3.4.7 beta. Later camera additions may need newer firmware. See AIO-6 firmware release notes and the official action-camera guide.
Pair and use a camera
Install the firmware required for your camera and display using the firmware update guide.
Power on the camera manually and enable its wireless or remote connection mode.
Open the display’s action-camera control interface and start pairing with the camera nearby.
Stay on that interface while it connects. Check the connection status and preview where supported.
Use the available record, photo and sleep/wake controls. Advanced settings may require the camera or its own app.
Leaving the control page for Home, CarPlay or playback may end the camera-control session. GPS synchronization and individual controls depend on the supported camera workflow.
If pairing fails
Check both devices’ firmware and restart them.
Use the camera’s network or connection reset if needed; this clears its saved wireless pairing.
Pair again nearby and remain on the control page.
FAQs
Can I turn the camera on or off from CHIGEE?
You must power it on and off manually. Sleep and wake controls after connection are different from switching its power on or off.
Can I connect two action cameras at once?
No. One action camera can be paired at a time; simultaneous connections and instant switching are not supported.
