You can use the BMW Wonder Wheel to move the cursor between the Android Auto app list and the taskbar at the bottom of the CHIGEE Display screen. Turn on Vertical Rolling Control first; without it, the cursor moves only between apps.
Turn on Vertical Rolling Control
To let the Wonder Wheel reach the Android Auto taskbar on the CHIGEE Display:
On the CHIGEE Display, tap Settings > Remote Control.
Turn on Vertical Rolling Control.
Move the cursor with the Wonder Wheel
With Vertical Rolling Control turned on, use the Direction Reset button next to the Wonder Wheel while Android Auto is open on the CHIGEE Display:
Long press: moves the cursor down to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Short press: moves the cursor up to the app list.
This lets you reach both the apps and the Android Auto taskbar without taking your hands off the handlebar controls.
Note: If you don't see Vertical Rolling Control in Settings > Remote Control, update your CHIGEE Display to the latest firmware. See Update CHIGEE Display firmware over Wi-Fi.
