The CHIGEE Display works with an iPhone 6s or later on iOS 13 or later, and with Android phones on Android 11 or later that support 5 GHz Wi-Fi and have an active data plan. Your phone connects through wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, so compatibility depends on your phone and its software.

The table below shows the minimum phone requirements for using CarPlay or Android Auto on the CHIGEE Display.

Phones that don't support Android Auto
Some Android phones can't use Android Auto on the CHIGEE Display:
Android (Go edition): phones running Android (Go edition) aren't supported.
Phones without Google Play services: Android Auto needs Google Play services, so phones without them can't use it.
Some countries: Android Auto features may be limited outside the countries where Google offers Android Auto.
Huawei phones
Whether a Huawei phone works with the CHIGEE Display depends on where it was sold and its software:
Huawei phones sold outside mainland China: these phones generally don't support Android Auto, because Huawei's global phones no longer include Google services. Check with Huawei whether your model supports Android Auto; we can't confirm individual models.
Huawei phones sold in mainland China: these phones come with Huawei HiCar instead of Android Auto. HiCar is supported on most recent Mate, Pura or P series, nova and Pocket phones running EMUI 10 or later, or HarmonyOS 2 or later.

Does the CHIGEE Display work with iOS 26 and later?
The CHIGEE Display works with iPhones running iOS 26 and later. The CHIGEE Display shows your iPhone through CarPlay, so compatibility depends on your iPhone's iOS version, and you don't need to change anything on the CHIGEE Display when you update iOS.
Why does an Android phone need a data plan?
An Android phone needs an active data plan for online features on Android Auto, such as live maps and music streaming, because the CHIGEE Display's Wi-Fi link doesn't provide internet.
