Headset intercom stops working with Android Auto

Check simultaneous connection and intercom support when adding your CHIGEE Display to a headset.

If rider-to-rider intercom stops after you pair a CHIGEE Display, check your headset's connection limits and pairing mode. Intercom and simultaneous Bluetooth audio support vary by headset.

Test the connections separately

  1. Keep the phone-to-headset pairing for music, navigation and calls.

  2. Temporarily disconnect the display-to-headset pairing and test intercom again.

  3. Check the headset manual for the supported combination of phone, additional Bluetooth device and intercom.

  4. If supported, reconnect the display for Android Auto microphone input and test again while parked.

Multiple saved pairings do not necessarily mean all connections work at the same time. If your headset cannot support the combination, keep the phone-to-headset connection and leave the display's headset connection off when you need intercom.

See Pair a Bluetooth headset with your CHIGEE Display for the separate CarPlay and Android Auto connection paths.
