Secure a CHIGEE Display in a mechanical BMW Nav Prep cradle

Lock your display with the original cradle key and check that it is secure before riding.

Use the original key to secure your CHIGEE Display in a compatible mechanical BMW Nav Prep cradle. Electric and keyless cradles use different release mechanisms.

Lock the CHIGEE Display

  1. Park the motorcycle before fitting the CHIGEE Display.

  2. Seat the CHIGEE Display fully in the compatible cradle.

  3. Lock the BMW Nav Prep cradle with its original key.

  4. Gently check the CHIGEE Display: it should remain secure in the locked cradle.

If the cradle uses an electric lock

For the BMW Electromagnetic Quick-Release Cradle, follow the installation and locking guide. For a BMW original keyless mount, follow the instructions for that exact BMW part.
