On an AIO-6 installed through a compatible BMW Nav Prep cradle, you can select the sources for speed, tilt angle and tire pressure on the CHIGEE Display’s BMW dashboard.
Choose speed and tilt angle sources
On the AIO-6, open Settings > Features > More and scroll to the dashboard options.
Turn on GPS Speed to use the AIO-6 GPS speed instead of the motorcycle’s speed reading. Use this when you prefer GPS speed or the motorcycle does not provide speed to the cradle.
Turn on BMW Dashboard Shows Tilt Angle Data to use the AIO-6 tilt sensor when the motorcycle has no built-in tilt sensor. Complete tilt angle calibration first.
If the motorcycle has no tilt sensor and that option is off, the tilt field stays blank. When enabled, the CHIGEE Display supplies its own tilt reading. These steps describe the BMW Nav Prep cradle configuration.
Choose the tire pressure source
If your compatible BMW supplies its factory tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) readings through the cradle, you do not need separate CHIGEE TPMS sensors.
Open the TPMS settings on the CHIGEE Display.
Select NAV as the source instead of CG TPMS.
Check that the motorcycle’s tire pressure readings appear on the CHIGEE Display.
The BMW dashboard source settings video demonstrates the available settings.
