Understand AIO-6 LTE SIM and 4G status icons

Identify seven SIM and 4G status icons, including the blue dot, registration errors and data or service renewal prompts.

The AIO-6 LTE signal and SIM icons show the SIM type, network registration and service status. Use the meaning of the complete icon when checking a connection.

Read the SIM and 4G icons

The following icons appear on the AIO-6 LTE status bar.

Gray signal bars with an X

During the first 60 seconds after power-on, this icon means the AIO-6 LTE has not detected the 4G module yet.

Grey signal bars with an X

Red 4G symbol with a slash

The AIO-6 LTE has not detected the 4G module or SIM card.

Red 4G symbol with a diagonal line through it

Signal bars with a yellow exclamation mark

SIM verification failed, or the CHIGEE 4G service for your own SIM has expired. Check the SIM status and the CHIGEE service validity separately.

Signal bars with a yellow exclamation mark

Signal bars with a blue dot

The AIO-6 LTE is using your own carrier’s SIM. A signal icon without the blue dot identifies a CHIGEE-provided SIM. The dot identifies the SIM type; it does not change features or by itself confirm a working connection.

Signal bars with a bright blue dot

Signal bars with a blue question mark

The AIO-6 LTE detects 4G coverage but cannot register on the network.

Normal red and white signal bars

The AIO-6 LTE is registered on the mobile network. More bars indicate stronger signal; registration alone does not guarantee enough upload bandwidth for live video.

Red SIM card icon

A CHIGEE SIM has run out of credit/data or is close to doing so. Tap the icon to open the recharge prompt. With your own SIM, check whether the CHIGEE 4G service has expired; carrier data is renewed separately with your carrier.

For payment options, see SIM data, service fees and renewals. If the connection still fails, follow the no 4G connection checks.
