AIO-6 LTE SIM data, service fees and renewals

Compare CHIGEE SIM data and own-SIM service fees, renew the correct plan, and understand expiry and number retention.

With your own SIM, CHIGEE 4G service costs USD 50 for 360 days after the initial free 180 days. The free period starts from device activation. A CHIGEE-provided SIM has no separate CHIGEE 4G service fee.

Check which fee applies

The AIO-6 LTE uses mobile data and CHIGEE cloud services for remote features. Your SIM type determines how you pay for them.

CHIGEE includes a SIM in eligible countries and regions. Canada and the United Arab Emirates require a separately purchased CHIGEE SIM. Telecom regulations, roaming agreements and carrier restrictions prevent bundled SIMs in some markets; you can use a compatible local SIM instead. See SIM eligibility and regional coverage.

CHIGEE data top-up prices depend on the region and selected package. Check the CHIGEE GO App and the official SIM card notice for available plans.

Renew the correct plan

Use this CHIGEE GO App path to open the AIO-6 LTE network services page.

  1. Open the CHIGEE GO App and tap Me.

  2. Select My Device.

  3. Tap the paper and pencil icon at the top right of the AIO-6 LTE device box.

  4. Open Network Services.

  5. For a CHIGEE SIM, choose Data Recharge, select a suitable package and complete payment. For your own SIM, choose the 4G Service top-up option to renew CHIGEE cloud service.

If you use your own SIM, buy or renew its mobile-data plan directly with your carrier. Paying CHIGEE’s service fee does not add carrier data.

After payment, the renewed 4G features can resume when the AIO-6 LTE has power, network coverage and valid SIM data. If they do not resume, check the 4G connection. For restricted payments in Russia or Belarus, see renewal payment problems.

Understand expiry and reactivation

A CHIGEE SIM is suspended when its data runs out or its validity expires, whichever happens first. Its number is retained for up to 12 months after expiry. If you do not top up within that period, the number is permanently deactivated and cannot be restored.

The CHIGEE 4G service for your own SIM has no renewal deadline. You can leave it inactive and pay to reactivate it when you need remote features again. Your carrier’s own SIM and number-retention rules still apply.

When required data or CHIGEE 4G service expires, remote live view, location tracking and parking alerts through the App stop. Local functions remain available with their normal requirements: CarPlay and Android Auto need a compatible phone, and dashcam recording needs cameras and storage. Bluetooth and local recording are not disabled by the CHIGEE 4G service expiry.

Renew before you need remote monitoring or notifications while parked. See which features work without SIM data or 4G service.

Why your own SIM still needs CHIGEE 4G service

Your carrier provides the mobile-data connection. CHIGEE cloud services provide content delivery network (CDN) acceleration, cloud forwarding and server maintenance for live GPS tracking, remote camera previews, two-way App communication, and syncing riding records and incidents.

The fee supports those cloud functions; a mobile-data plan alone does not replace them. If you do not need 4G features, the AIO-6 Max does not use this service.
