You can manually lock footage on CHIGEE Display models that support dashcam recording, including camera-equipped models such as the AIO-5 Lite, XR-2 and AIO-6. A locked clip is protected from normal loop-recording overwrite.
Lock the current recording
On the CHIGEE Display home screen, open Video to enter the recording interface.
Tap the screen once to show the menu.
Tap the Lock button (the fourth button from the left) to protect the current footage.
Check the on-screen indicator to confirm that the clip has been locked. The button position or interface may vary by model or firmware version.
Important: Locked footage can still occupy storage space. Back up important clips to another device and manage locked files when storage becomes full.
