The CG2 fits phones 72–86 mm wide and up to 11 mm thick, including the case. You can mount it on a motorcycle or scooter when the mounting point and available clearance suit the chosen CG2 base.

Can I use my phone case with the CG2?

Measure your phone with its case fitted. The combined width must be 72–86 mm and thickness no more than 11 mm. The CG2 manual recommends a plastic protective case to improve grip.

Does the CG2 protect my phone from scratches?

The CG2 clamping area has protective pads to help protect your phone. Check that the pads are in place and free of grit before fitting the phone. The pads do not guarantee that scratches can never occur.

Will the included mount fit my motorcycle or scooter?

The included CG2 handlebar mount is designed for suitable round handlebars from 22–32 mm. Check the diameter, room for the clamp and full steering clearance. See Install the included CG2 handlebar mount for the adapter rings and fitting steps.

What if my clip-on handlebars have no room for a clamp?

The CG2-specific MFP0040 fork stem mount is an alternative for a suitable fork stem opening. Check your motorcycle's opening and cockpit clearance against the kit before buying. See Install the CG2 fork stem mount.

What should I check before riding?

Check that the base, holder and phone are secure. Turn the handlebars through their full range and make sure the phone, holder and cables do not obstruct steering, instruments or controls.
