Add a used CHIGEE Display to your CHIGEE GO App account

Provide the original purchase details and bound email to unbind a used display. Support follows the original purchase channel.

A used CHIGEE Display must be unbound from the previous owner's CHIGEE GO App account before you can add it to yours. Factory resetting the display does not remove that binding.

Ask the previous owner to unbind it

The quickest option is for the previous owner to follow the unbinding steps in their account. If you bought through a dealer, ask the dealer to contact the previous owner.

After unbinding, open the CHIGEE GO App, tap Add Device, select your model and scan the serial number code.

If the previous owner cannot help

For help with unbinding a used display, provide the original purchase store, order number or invoice, the email address originally bound to the display, and the display's serial number.

If the original order was placed with a dealer, contact that dealer for assistance. If we can locate and verify the original order in our records, CHIGEE Support can handle the unbinding request directly. To protect account security, we cannot process an unbinding request if the required purchase and original bound email information cannot be provided.

The estimated processing time is 2 business days after we receive the required information. This is an estimate, not a guarantee of approval or completion.

FAQs

Can I use CarPlay or Android Auto before unbinding?

CarPlay and Android Auto do not require the CHIGEE GO App binding. App-dependent functions require the display to be added to your account.

Does the warranty transfer?

For a warranty request for a used display, provide the original purchase store and proof of purchase, such as the original order number or invoice. If the original order was placed with a dealer, contact that dealer for warranty service. For original orders placed on chigee.com, contact CHIGEE Support. Warranty eligibility is based on the original purchase and the applicable warranty terms; account unbinding does not establish warranty eligibility.
